I was fascinated when I watched this. I didn’t dig deep into it but sounds plausible. Still many “polio” cases today around the world but usually in war torn countries, which again could come from collapsing immune systems

Pesticides, heavy metals, environmental toxins, etc perhaps combined with malnourishment for cases today. Creating gut permeability in children that allows the virus to reach the spine.
