If you believe in “science” and get triggered when someone rejects it then you are firmly in the matrix. This is your signal to reject it all 100%! Science is the biggest scam there is. TRUTH.

The scientific method is legit yes as a system for experimentation but “science” is a false religion. Do no try and save the word. It is hopeless and works against us. Embrace Natural Philosophy which is what all the greats called it before it was buried and replaced with scientism in the 1920’s. Swallow all this now and we can again have beautiful things.

having a giant body of accumulated knowledge which is open to peer review and critique, which we colloquially refer to as “the science,” which, if we choose to do the work we can verify (and not trust), is a massive development for good

the scientific method is great but a continuously verified chain of falsifiable knowledge (the science) is greater

Not sure I agree with this «attack» on the term science. The scientific method, with all its flaws, is the best tool we have to iterate on the body of human knowledge («the science»). What we all need to be religious about is to combat our own logical fallacies when navigating that body of knowledge in search of «truth». More humility is warranted, because everyone makes wrong turns in that landscape.

Science is a dark spell and must be utterly rejected else no progress is possible.

They twisted “ the scientific method” to create “scientism” much as they twisted “natural selection” to create evolution.

My utter based focus and confidence here is the result of maniacal study. I am not the smartest no where near and that is why I made it to the bottom of this rabbit

The more I dig, the clearer it is that it is indeed a false religion. Astronomy and virology are 100% garbage. Other fields have some truth with crap layered on top.

I would not go that far. I'm sure there are lot of legit scentist looking for answers without a specific agenda.

But for the everyday life, I like how #[2] puts it. Develop heuristics instead of seeking the truth, there are too many theories on everything and it's impossible to go through them all to define your own version of the truth. Heuristics (built through life experience) helps you quickly sort out the bullshit.
