Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying mentioned on the #darkhorsepodcast in recent months that LED globes don't emit Infrared (IR) light. Color temperatures like 2700K may be unhelpful as they have limited light output on both sides of the spectrum. Particularly, the warmer end of the IR spectrum is not emitted by these LEDs.

This could potentially impact human rhythms, which are naturally attuned to the Mid-IR and Far-IR emissions from the sun.

Any suggestions for bulbs or candles?

Maybe mix an incandescent in on fixtures with multiple sockets.

I couldnt remember what the modern variant of incandescent was - "Halogen" is the name - they are still a warm filament glove and thus produce heat via IR but are less cost inefficient
