The only catch - you have to live underground, in Coober Pedy where it regularly gets well in to the 40s Celsius https://v.nostr.build/LM8TOvHjoUj9JSOH.mp4

I think it would be awesome living in a dugout!
Went to school with a kid who moved from Coober Pedy. He said it was great.
Don’t think it would be for me though, I like natural light and windows too much
Just dig some extra holes and you can have as many skylights as you want for natural light! 😂
I’ve only been there on a holiday as a child but it was an interesting place to visit. The heat wasn’t too much of a problem but there were too many flies!
I camped overnight there on a road trip and it got down to -2. Then played golf the next morning and we lost a dozen balls on the first 2 holes because we couldn’t see anything, rocks and balls all looked the same 😂
Definitely an interesting visit. One of the most unique places I’ve ever been to
Wow, actually a thing.

Yeah it’s not all underground, but there’s quite a few from the old days.
You can check out the town on Google Street View. It’s quite strange
There are some videos on YouTube with the Coober Pedy locals so you know what the neighbours will be like.. 😂
Interesting. You can mine opals in your own living room... 🤔
Half a Bitcoin.
Looks like it's still pretty expensive to me
Very true with the correct framing.
Half a Bitcoin or a literal hole in the ground? I think we both know the right choice
They are nailing the get killed here vibe for the house.
I kinda feel like living underground these days isn't the bad idea people think it is 🤔
