Yes, that’s going to be a real game changer in so many ways. It will draw tons of relative liquidity through small pleb nodes, and promote new node adoption with all the benefits that come with it.
Yes this is the lightning network im here for...not the one where alby and wallet of satoshi are just ping ponging sats back and forth. If lightning really becomes a significant force in moving money globally, it NEEDS to be in use by hundreds of thousands of individual nodes. Otherwise it will be captured and the innovation dies.
I think most of the community feels the same way. It’s a core underlying principle that no open protocol or significant aspect of a protocol becomes captured.
