"pretty good privacy"

*reads the specs

... what is this gossip thing, bro?

Pretty good means nothing. Especially if one understands the current privacy state of the LN.

Some improvements may come in the future. But everybody who needs some sort of privacy today (who doesn't?) better utilises Monero.

That's pretty poor marketing. Do you think Bitcoiners/Austrians would have ever started to utilise Bitcoin if it had a "pretty good" limited supply.

Není to too good to be true?

The author of the slide implemented a lightning node from scratch. He understands. Do you?

Obviously the author understands how to write code. Unfortunately that doesn't mean he understands where the pretty good privacy asumptions might get you criminalized/busted now, in the past or in the future.

Can you please share the presentation link or maybe video link

It was on Mallorca blockchain days yesterday, I think they've live streamed on YouTube.

Cool. Thanks.
