I have heard some people give their music away for free.

If you are giving music away, can you share why?

Do you think giving away your music makes it harder for others to charge for theirs?

Is that even part of the thought process?

For me it's more important to get my music out there than to make money right away.

I've never thought about if that makes it harder for others to charge for their music but I don't think so. Honestly selling my music and making albums wasn't even originally part of my plan, and I wanted to abandon it after my first album. I get more out of making shorter, less refined songs for YT

Priorities are always.. music must be made, I must make it, I like music, I like making it... but I like to have money to live.

I guess... to be honest, I am short on both enjoying the process of making music and money at the moment.

But collabs are always envigorating, to the creative soul. And I have a new job prospect at a guitar shop. So.. philosophical thought time.
