That's a LOT of territory to cover, and as tempting as it is to try to just off on a rant (or 7 -- see my responses to nostr:npub1gef8q9pzq6jpug58lhycrwm2w6qd65wzv6lr2ew2yuzf5yyz4wjqg53eyc over the past few days, and you'll see some of those rants anyway), I'm working on avoiding the urge to just point a firehose at people when they ask for all of the information.

I'd say the best thing you can do to understand how bitcoin can be lifechanging is to understand what money is, how our money is broken, and how Bitcoin is an alternative that provides a better way forward. And for that it's hard to beat nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a's book Broken Money.

Bitcoin won't make you rich quick, but it will stop you from perpetually getting more and more poor faster than you want to. Nostr, meanwhile, will let you not answer to anyone when it comes to expressing yourself online, and connecting with people on your own terms. They're a pretty darn powerful combination.
