When entering your seed phrase does it matter if you use caps or lowercase or a combination? Like a password? Or does it not really matter and the words are the Important part?

Case should not matter unless the wallet code has an error.

Case doesn't matter. Also, only the first 4 letters of each word are important.

Because each 4 letter combination is also unique (abandon= aban)

Great question and great answers.

I just want to remind you to super super careful where you type your seed phrase in!

Usually you only do that for emergency recovering purposes.

Whoever has your seed, has total control over your wallet.

Thank you. I do know how important that is. And appreciate the reminder

By the way, there was no typing of the seed involved.

write down your seed on paper with a graphite pencil (ink can disperse and make the paper unable to read).

Use hot wallets (software wallets) only for small amounts.

Use cold wallets (hardware wallets) for your savings.

Never ever type in your seeds of a cold wallet in any device, only in case of a severe emergency (e.g.you lost your hardware wallet).

Hot wallets and anything that is connected to your PC is potentially unsafe. Phishing or viruses can steal your seed phrase (or provivate key).

You are your own bank, you have full custody and full responsibility over your coins. Lost coins are lost.

Seed phrase no, but passphrase yes.
