Here in my city (Maricá 🇧🇷), we now have a free streaming (similar to Netflix) - in addition to the popular cinema, which is also free. This initiative came from the municipality that makes up the culture incubator of the municipality. There are still no major national films listed, not least because this is not the original idea.

The project is to boost independent artists and producers, as well as to bring light to the very beauty of our city, in the tourist records and the like.

I thought it was really cool! 👍

Do you know how much the municipality spent developing it and will spend maintening it? Doesn't people in the town have any more urgent needs?

Surely you do! Much of the resources come from the oil royalties, which the city hall receives. What in the order of 110 million reais per month, with a quarterly bonus of 380 million, more.
