before i decided to shun the bar around the corner from me, i was always picking off often several ticks from the barfly cat

one of the advantages of generally cold weather anywhere, ticks, skeeters, flies, really very very few

i hate parasites, at all... reminds me i really need to do a deworm and ivermectin blood parasite treatment sometime

I left the land of cold a decade ago I miss the -20C in the winter.

yeah, i'm torn about it... right now on my "where to next" list is between eastern rockies and the border between russia and mongolia

novi sad was nice, warm enough in summer but not a lotta parasites

Alberta has no rats

nice... we got rats and ticks here on #madeira

some big rats even... seen em squashed on the roads, as well as spying them scampering by in the distance (like 9" long)

I was 19 before I saw a rat, there's rattlesnakes, and black widows that's it for bad stuff

some people where i came from kept pet rats, in fact "pet rat" is an expression

i guess, if people want to keep ferrets and badgers well why not rats lol
