Noticed mine coming up right after comfrey this year
How do you grow comfrey? Better yet, how do you recognize comfrey?
I believe cockroaches and rhubarb are the two things that can easily survive a nuclear bomb.
I have so much rhubarb and nothing will stop it from coming up year after year.
i’m hoping!
Where are you located? I’m in Ontario and my rhubarb buds are red. I’ll post a picture in the morning. Interesting. I don’t know if there are different varieties.

It does spread. It was planted when I bought the farm so not sure what was originally planted. The photo does not capture all the plants. I am desperately trying to give rhubarb to everyone I meet for the month of June :-)
I have 5 breaking the ground. The solid rain today helped.
I am now drowning in rhubarb. The desperate giveaway season begins!
