Ok, I had this thought and I wonder.

I think that left wing authoritarianism is actually more dangerous than right wing. Because it's more stable and harder to take down.

Looking at history, it seems that communist/socialist dictatorships always last longer.

This is likely due to centralisation of power in the entity of the state, making it easier for a dictator to capture.

Thoughts?

I think right wing authoritarianism aims at concentrating the wealth on very few people, creating a lot of envious people.

Left wing authoritarianism aims at spreading the wealth, so is more accepted long term, especially if it manages to do do

That also makes sense. You can destroy the country more slowly because you are at least meeting basic needs of a larger number of people.
