Thanks. I like the way Google handled 'trust rank' better.

Better than what?

Better than how it's defined here.

Thanks. Thought that’s want you meant.

I’d like to know more … if you have ideas of how nostr can move fwd. Decentralized trust is not easy.

Well, it really depends on how 'trust' is defined. Is it defined as 'it's a real person (not a bot)', 'a person you can actually trust and with a reputation (meaning: a lot of people know him, personally)' or whatever.

Then the question arises how you want to treat a 'trusted account' compared to an untrusted one.

I think just saying, he's NIP05 verified isn't enough. Because spammers and bots can get verified too.

Right. Excellent points.

This entire conversations (linked posts) have evolved from the reality that NIP-05 does NOT verify trust, that nostr ecosystem suffers from messaging otherwise, and that we really do need a “verified trusted” tool for end users.

How is “trusted” defined?

How are “trusted” accounts handled?

You are on point. These ARE the questions that will shape development.

Any more thoughts?
