You can run over a bunch of people with your car and drive of a bridge and call it progress because now the car is in the river and it's so brave for overcoming so many obstacles, crossing boundaries, and diversifying the marine ecosystem.

True. People think that technological advancement is progress but its mostly given us more efficient means to regress.
