I have recently changed node software to start9 from umbrel
For all plebs that are as unskilled as myself I made a short how to guide to run lncli commands easily using alias and functions commands as it’s different to umbrel. Hope someone finds it useful

I’ve tried umbrel in the past. Haven’t tried start9…I want to run a lightning node but backup for channel state has me a bit confused.
What in particular is confusing.
I can wrap my mind around how to backup a seed phrase. And how to make it durable.
For lightning, as I understand it, you need a new backup each time you transact. And the backup data isn’t something you can write down…it’s too much. So the backup must be digital.
I also don’t grok how lightning handles bitcoin wallets. Does it have its own? I know LND uses seed phrases that are clever enough to encode “birthday” in the seed itself, so presumably it must have its own bitcoin wallet.
On start9 it’s a couple of clicks.
Traditional and sane layout to everything too.
Umbrel is very pretty though
