The first people to be cut loose will be the big accounts who pick up lots of followers by amplifying the voice of the Hive Mind. You know, the kind of people you end up following when you first join a social media network because you have to start somewhere.

If I knew how to I'd make a 'who did #[1] unfollow bot' lolol. But yeah, I also think being more selective on nostr makes a better experience. Sounded like this follow4follow might have made sense at the start (don't know I'm fairly new), but I don't think that would make a feed I would be interested in at all. Maybe this is a good sign. Nostr is healing lol;)

Follow 4 follow makes sense if you're actually interested in talking to people but so many just want to pontificate to the crowd.

I've only unfollowed a couple of people so far. I'm not naming names because I'm kind of embarrassed that I ever followed them in the first place.

Hm yeah I uppoae you're right follow 4 follow could make a sort of chatroom type experience. I suppose I would want to see that more as a relay with good spam filtering on a global feed. But yeah, personal preference.

Never reveal the unfollows lol, mysteries are way better lolol.
