2. Instigate public concern, prompting a call for action, such as enhanced border control.
3. Fulfill their demand, perhaps by adopting a proposed biometric entry and exit system.
4. Gain increased control over the population, aligning with your intended outcome.
5. Receive accolades from citizens who, unaware, applaud your efforts in addressing immigration but fail to recognize the unintended consequences of limiting their own escape.
Classic problem-reaction-solution. And sadly works every fucking time
