Evolution of an awesome existence.
One day I woke up and I was 44 years old. FML!! Then I began to notice that people were taking me seriously. Gone were then endless days of having to intricately explain what my thinking was on any given decision I made. My advice was no longer being questioned to the same extent and I was suddenly The Expert, The Designer and also … Sensei.
None of this was particularly by intention, or forward planning, but rather by just getting on with what I wanted to do, doing it well and not striving for advancement and recognition.
Shit Just happened, and it was good shit!
My lesson here is, just get on with what you want to be doing and don’t bother trying to set difficult goals. All the same, still have an overall concept of where you would like to be if you could. A wise man once said, “how will you ever find the path to the top of the mountain if you can’t take your eyes away from the summit”.
Getting where you want to be does actually take effort, so remember to apply yourself fully in what you do. Another wise person said “the man at the top of the mountain didn’t fall there!”
So, get off your arses and get to it!!
