If a guy has an unattractive face, like 75% of the time he can fix it with a beard.

That’s why a lot of guys in their 50s and 60s end up looking better than they did in their 30s and 40s- they grow a beard.

I saw an old politician on a news clip yesterday and didn’t even recognize him at first because he had a beard. Looked better than he did decades ago. Happens almost every time.

I mean when in the analysis business everything you have is a hammer. “that is why” is such a misguiding term. You see a causal relationship between A and B everywhere. Especially observable with banking economists who can explain everything (mostly expost). See, even I just fall for it. 😃
