if you think of earth as spherical ( which it is ) then places like Iceland and Norway are pretty close to places like Alaska and Japan ( if you walk across the North Pole ). this is why i think Bjork and some other girls from Scandinavia and Iceland look a bit like Eskimo or Japanese.
