Using Aqua wallet you can swap out of Bitcoin into Liquid tether and vice versa
I personally like to keep my liquid tether in cold storage using a Blockstream Jade with Blockstream green

thanks.. im considering that option but not sure how i feel about the risk of liquid getting rug pulled or busted... but the other shitcoin options are maybe worse... definitely not an easy answer...
