When you stop to think about Apple’s rules it makes literally no sense. If someone else posts an invoice from their lightning wallet and you tap that to pay it in your lightning wallet that’s literally a request from your Nostr client to a lightning wallet. If however you tap a lightning symbol and it sends a request to your wallet that is somehow different?

🎯 This is why I suggested nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s change the word Zap to Tips and make it clear to Apple its the exact same thing that is allowed on Twitter.

The Apple notice specifically says tips. That’s what they have a problem with. It seems there issue is being able to tip notes.

They probably just don't know that we have that option, yet. Once they catch wind of funds they can't get their mitts on, I'm sure that will be forbidden as well.

No, all the LN wallets had to go through the same process to get accepted. The weird thing is that Apple approved Lightning tipping back when Damus was first accepted to the App Store.

Huh, didn't know that. I dunno... I don't trust them to not turn around and say "oh and also this"
