I don't think so, but I'm not sure, if you block them, they can't see your notes anymore just if they are reposted, if you mute they can see the notes, but I don't see the notes from them...

I don't think that's how Nostr works. As far as I know, you can only control what you see, not others. So for Nostr there's no difference between the two.

You can't block people from seeing your notes on nostr. In nostr block = mute.
