I mainly use WPS for thesis writing. However, my supervisor are using Microsoft Office. So, usually at the end of the research I will start editing on Microsoft Office for compatibility reasons.

Despite a FOSS advocate, I cant convert to libre office despits multiple attempts. as for OpenOffice, its abandoned.
