Replying to Avatar Duchess

#Plebs, I need some advice. I'm slowly trying to #PurplePill, and I have not yet perfected my words when explaining what #Nostr is.

Do you think it's necessary for me to explain that Nostr is a protocol and then try to explain, in the simplest way possible, the difference between a protocol and an app?

- This might result in some confusion and a longer onboarding process.

Alternatively, do you think I should just avoid possibly confusing my friends and go with their idea of calling Nostr an app?

- In the future, they might ask me why I didn't explain the difference 🥵🤷‍♀️.

But i think the crucial thing for now is to find an app to advise to. Many are still unstable and confusing. I like Yana for it's stability and because it is fast. So it feels like normal app.

But the real problem with onboarfing is the nip05 certification.

This is to confusing for many i guess.
