Almost all mosques are funded by external governments in europe. See Madrid mosque as an example.
Okay is that a bad thing? the country is getting free money from outside that makes life richer for people.
Of course is bad, they are artificially influencing over the society of other country to promote their interest. Money is never free there are always interest behind.

Spain had been under Muslim rule and responsible for so much of what is there. Those lands are a boat ride across.
