Follower counts are kind of a shitty metric here on Nostr, since they will always return different numbers based on the speed at which relays respond. That said, I do watch them on the daily to gauge or at least try to gauge a general rate of adoption. The past couple of days multiple places showed follower counts cut in half. I don't know why. It's just an observation.
