As it we're in a bull market (PUMP IT UP), I got a paddleboard! (Yep, prepping for a wallet accident, iykyk ;)

Took it out today, despite the cold & boy did we have an adventure! We entered a cove to a herd of sea lions... my fear level bumped to the same level as when a huge bear came out of the bushes at me last summer.

Ofc this goober fell in in the excitement (& knocked my camera in the water - yay for straps). He got hoisted in & we hightailed it outta there!

Felt so exposed on the ocean being so close to a pod of sea puppies (sea lions are BIG), despite being fairly close to shore. I can't imagine coming across orcas on a paddleboad! 🥂

To more adventures this summer, but perhaps a bit more tame 😆

It was STRESSFUL. I'm like, dude, we need to keep a low profile to not attract them to us in case they're territorial 🤦‍♀️. But he kept barking, & then he fell in, then I've never paddled so hard in my life to get us outta there 😅
