nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc what was that logical way you deduced that we aren't living in a simulation because Bitcoin?

There should be a "get notified about a post you have nothing to do with" button, like I want to know whenever dergigi replies to this note 😛
Something to do with processing power?
My guess as well, resource limitation and scarcity.
Yeah it was something along these lines
Yup i think so. But the argument is wrong in that i believe that the simulation is run by infinite beings that created this simulation to get limitations.
So by extrapolating the limits of this simulation to outside the simulation is wrong logic.
PoW can't be simulated.
Doesn't that just mean the simulator is capable of computation?
Why do testnet coins eventually gain value unless the network is wiped?
🤔 id like to see this expanded if you already have or plan on.
I’m thinking in video games you have to put in the work to acquire resources. The character may be indifferent to whether actual energy was used or if the activity is simulated.
I can confirm it's way less tiring to shoot guns and steal cars in video games 😂
If you’re the character being played you wouldn’t be aware of that
I am always the character when I play
Everything you currently experience is relative to your environment. If all you know is this environment, you don’t really know if there’s something else beyond it. You’re a prisoner or your brain and how it perceives things.
Now imagine this is a game (a rudimentary simulation) and you don’t know what actual forces control you. You’d have no way of knowing apart from discovering some glitch that hinted at this being a simulation.
Ok imagine you are the character and the game teleports you or creates a thousand bricks of gold in front of view: you broke all laws of physics. So I think in-game PoW might be overrated
The game is obviously constrained by some variables and no one is cheating yet. Or maybe they have but we’re playing a different instance and are not aware of it
Scary 😅
Could you please elaborate or point to a resource that elaborates on this?
