I hear ya… that’s where I sorta got to…

Can you just lever the starter cog up into the fly wheel with a screw driver and give it a crank?

It “should” spin it and drop back down.*

*Look at me go with my small motor mechanic bullshit! 😂

Caveat…

We actually used to do this with the R22 starters that wouldn’t throw out/engage when we were out bush that’d allow us to fly back home to get the starters replaced. 🤙🏻🤜🏻
