This is true. The Founding Father's seem to have been part of a fraternity of Freemasons which was taken over by the Illuminati in Europe, and I believe that since then, American Freemasonry (which at the time had the values and started goals if individually sovereign men) has also been taken over largely by the same ilk (who value centralized power and control).
