I was setting up the nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n #jade wallet (again lol) today. In a way it felt so normal to set up a hardware wallet for my #bitcoin, but it made me kinda forget why us #bitcoiners use hardware wallets. I get the point of not your keys not your coins. But why do we prefer hardware wallets?

We do hard wallets because the little device never touches the internet and thats what generated my bitcoin private key.. also you or someone will need the device to make a transaction.. sobif i loose my phone the person that finds it can only look at my wallet.
If it was a hot wallet and i lost my phone big possibly i lost my funds as well
