Anyone have experience with the #bitcoin Liquid Network? What are the pros/cons compared to #lightning and what wallet do you recommend?

liquid is not Bitcoin, but they're doing a good job convincing people it's a scaling solution
I agree that only the base layer is true Bitcoin, but finding privacy solutions for a global currency has some relevance in my personal opinion. Even if only to offset the unforeseen future of KYC pressure possibilities. I also agree that the need for a scaling solution is highly debatable. What kinds of issues do you see as a result of supporting 2nd layer options in general, regardless of how critical they may or may not be?
you are then trusting that 3rd party to not keep records of your on chain txs. if you want nonkyc you can use a p2p exchange like bisq. but you won't see this advice on social media because everyone has something to sell.
