I agree the algorithm on other social media is against the small accounts for the most part (although I did experience Instagram promoting smaller accounts just out of waning interest, I think at one point they were just trying to get people to post again). But there are similar albeit non-algorythmic hurdles here. Take a look at recommended users, nostr report, most zapped, trending etc etc. A lot of that is like a replication of an algorithm lol. Which is inevitable, it's what is seemingly the most mass-appealing. But in reality imo! It's the more niche interest possibilities which will contribute more to growth. And hashtags /groups (if developed more) would be more useful. Like any social media you have to do some digging to find the content.
