The paragraph quoted below was a slap in the face.

You basically said "Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about so I'm going to declare that what you just said doesn't matter."
You fired a shot by addressing my statement on that subject in that way.
A receptive person would say "Oh, that's interesting. I've never heard that before. What's your argument for holding that position?"
That's why you started feeling some heat in my responses. You offered a premature dismissal rooted in ignorance.
