If covid had been something other than what it was, it would have called for a different response. But covid being what it actually was, that response was disastrous.

The reason the fearful midwits and their malfeasant exploiters couldn’t/wouldn’t tell the difference is they gave into/exploited panic.

Fear is never the answer, especially in a crisis, and in this case it turned something that should not have been into one.

What COVID turned into became apparent only some time later.

It's cool now to say it was too much for COVID and it was, but the same protocol saved millions in case of ebola.

No, it was known at the time. The Great Barrington Declaration was written spring of 2020, the mRNA side effects known at the trials, the protocols for quarantining only the elderly were the established policy. They departed from that and followed (and induced) the most panicked.

Ebola is a different story, far less contagious, and we have no idea what would have happened.

But my point stands — the fear is a scourge, especially in a crisis.
