Those that don’t understand #bitcoin usually also have high time preference.

I think most people, especially the young have a short time preference. This is on us, adults/people in charge, we are not teaching them right.

FWIW this applies to BTC but is independent of it too. A 15 year old or a 25 year old NEEDS a long time preference. A 65 year old should live MOSTLY with a short one.

We have everything as usual ass backwards.

It is a curious phenomena that our time horizons tend to extend as we age.

I keep telling my son that the greatest advantage he has is how much time he has ahead of him. He doesn't quite see it that way of course.
