there should be a note type for "tried to zap X amount but couldn't". so the user can see all the potential earnings lost by not having a wallet setup. first class shaming support

Yeah but instead of just being able to lie and say "I was going to zap you x amount" you should actually have to zap, but it goes to a configured default for some donation wallet or something, then you can't lie about what you would have zapped.
So I'd be like, "I tried to give you 10k sats, but your zaps aren't configured so I donated to autistic kids instead, which is the same result"
Weird that they setup nostr and not the wallet, it’s like the selling pitch for Nostr, zaps.
That and the supposed “censorship resistant “ stuff.
