nope there is no way to do that and the reason is precisely to prevent you from using the same seed on two devices.

Why shouldn't I be able to use the same seed on 2 devices? One seed per device isn't an ideal UX.

one seed two devices is recipe for disaster without much work. same problem with on-chain wallets. they would break each other constantly if not handled correctly.

Could you explain how so? I'm not sure what you mean about on chain wallets. I have on chain wallets with the same seed on a lot of devices.
