this is a factual statement, their apps depend on their caching server. if they stop running the app will stop working

Fair enough. Why the need to say: runs out of money? This is the ego part I see.
If you truly believe you have the better product: heard. I liked Damus a lot. It’s fantastic. Truly.
My concern is open source software is new to those outside of tech circles. They will need to be educated, updated & trained too.
As we #nostr continue to grow reading that comment may scare a new user off of any or all these things :
