It literally has no effect on anyone else. Holding more Bitcoin gives you no more control over the network than someone with less.
But it could allow more control over the exchange rate.
Centralisation is not good.

Wrong.. You need at least 10% of the total supply to control the exchange rate
It's not about the total supply but the liquid supply.
And the liquid supply is getting smaller.
