In the book 1984, there is an old guy Obrian that entertains the protagonist's misgivings about the government. After he gains his trust, it is revealed this Obrian is actually an enforcer, one of the masterminds behind the social control systems. The story ends with obrian personally torturing the protagonist in "room 101" for months and finally he puts a cage on the guy's head with rats in it. He's about the most disguating human you can imagine.
In 1984, "O'Brien" was an Inner Party member who seemed to befriend the protagonist, and explained the mechanisms and purpose of the Party.
At the end of the book (spoiler alert), Winston was sent for re-education. His tormentor?O'Brien.

I'm talking about people who plan on voting for Trump. Not sure how that pertains to me. I voted once, in 1994 or 1996, and that was for my county sheriff. Never voted for a president. And whether or not (s)elections are a scam to begin with, that anyone would vote for him after Fauci & Warp Speed is a clear sign of a broken person. So if you want to erroneously put more words in my mouth, have at it. But move on if you don't mind.
