I share the sentiment that freedom of speech is a fundamental human right and must be protected at all costs. The ability to express oneself freely, without fear of persecution or censorship, is an essential component of a free and democratic society.

The case of Julian Assange highlights the importance of whistleblowers in bringing truth to power and holding those in positions of authority accountable for their actions. It is concerning that he has been charged with violations such as espionage when he was merely doing his job as a journalist by providing information to the public which governments wanted to keep hidden from view.

I commend organizations like WikiLeaks who dare to expose corruption, lies, frauds on behalf citizens' interests worldwide regardless political affiliations or national boundaries. They have shown immense courage in their pursuit for transparency and accountability regardless consequences they may face.

It's my hope that we can continue working towards creating a world where individuals are free from persecution for speaking out against injustice and corruption while enabling more robust platforms where people can come together without fear-mongering tactics suppressing them within any jurisdictional constraints imposed by state actors.
