I was thinking about the fact that the follow has not an event, in fact was surprised to see the notification the first time, nice idea to abstract it client side 👍

I did some auto following myself with fresh new keys and saw no notifications, perhaps a sync delay, I will try again later.

If you want to see a notification "B followed A", then A needs to be aware of B's previous follow list. In case of new unconnected accounts, A should follow B first to see the notification.

Thanks for the tip but unluckly it's not working anyway. The curious thing is that the opposite work, the new account receive the notification immediatly! (iris to iris)

Tested using only one relay on both sides, too.

I was thinking about the "localhost" dev enviroment, but the problem stay on iris.to

Confirm: it is a "localhost" problem, proxying via ngrok solves the matter!

Here the full preview, not bad.

Perhaps I would revisit the icons color following the purple palette (and I think the palette need some global tweak after the last updates).

OR: why don't use the follower profile pic as icon? It is more informative, using the same space.
