What payment volume per month is required for a user to be profitable? Or what’s the minimum required ratio of active spenders vs hodlers? Especially considering unpredictable onchain fees for splicing out inactive users to regain unused inbound liquidity. How would an LSP mitigate that risk?

This assumes avg $200 / month / user. With unilateral splice out you can pick when you bring back unused liquidity.

You can back out minimum vol if you assume an on-chain cost per user, but if you’re really worried about that you can charge up front or recurring to recoup on-chain fees.
