Just saw a new nostrich say "Primal fam". And that's what I think will become the norm. Nostr will become less known, remaining in slight obscurity as the foundational protocol. In the way no one says "HTTPS google that". And most people don't refer to it as ActivityPub either, but just as "Mastodon" or "Lemmy". Folks will only be mostly familiarized with the front-end experience of Nostr. "You gotta get onto [client], you can't be banned there!"

For normies I think social media will be divided into two parts: one where you can access one ID from all the apps (nostr) and one where you need different IDs for different apps (Insta, X etc). Then there will be a huge number of new generation people coming to the all in one side of social mediaanda still a lot of people will be stucked with their fan following of the old platforms.
