Nostr sees fit to randomly remove my follows as it is. You should be able to permanently/sticky follow.
Like important contacts in a phone book.
I’ve had to refollow Katie, uncle, even island.

it happens to me too. i have even seen accounts blocked that i have never blocked like the prism account 🤷🏾♂️
There is a tool to backup your follows. I forget what it is now. But maybe someone will drop a link? #asknostr
Bluesky doesn't have that problem 💙
