It is a huge bug. I am planning to give anyone a ONE BTC bounty to find the cause. Yes ONE BTC. Because it only occurs here and not on addition lightning nodes (yes, i have 34 nodes running) It is very hard to reproduce

Till my surprise they deleted the rescan option at the lnd.conf?! WTF. Something fishy is happing in the lightning development

nm. It is reset-wallet-transactions=true in the lnd.conf. Once you put this in your lnd.conf it cannot be undone. Even if you remove this option it keeps rescanning EVERY TIME you restart your lightning node. And yes, it was finished rescanning, so that is not the cause. I am gonna make a bug report on this

Good

Good luck with the project. I can re post your note and maybe some of my followers know something🤷🏻‍♂️

What a headache.

Unfortunately I’m not the one to help you on the problem. Since I’m mostly a hobby node runner.

Even though I could use the Bitcoin:-)

What about Carsten Otto or Anthony Potdevin?

Thanks for your heads up. It is luckely a reproducable bug. I made a bug report: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/7863 .

So the 1 BTC bounty is off the table 😜

But still I am affraid of force close channels because of a possible too long offline situation with my node... We will see.

you run 34 nodes but receive zaps to WoS? 😫

Node is down currently. If you followed me or zapped me in the past you would have seen my own inaptcanvas28@walletofsatoshi.com lightning address. As soon as my node is back online it will put this address back in use

* t4es5ter5@bitbubblex.com address. Damn Android autocorrect!

what do you run to enable zaps?

Works like a charm

Many blocks to go till rescan to current block 801213.

After that my main node can be accessible again (including the t4es5ter5@bitbubblex.com lightning address.... Hopefully not to many force closures. Have already so many due power outages here in Malta
