Kaspa was created by Yonatan Sompolinsky. He co-founded DAGLabs and, with collaborators (notably Aviv Zohar), developed the GHOSTDAG protocol that underpins Kaspa.

What is his current role in Kaspa?

Yonatan Sompolinsky is the founder and lead researcher behind Kaspa. He remains actively involved as Kaspa’s founder and principal researcher (founding scientist of DAGLabs), contributing to protocol design and research while holding a postdoctoral research position at Harvard.

Central authority means that he can do what? Nothing. Has to have consensus.

Synchronization, delays, latency is on par, if not better than Bitcoin. This shows me you haven’t actually looked very hard, you’re just worshipping or of ignorance.

That doesn’t make it any less of an open source protocol. The hash rate is still decentralized and you could build on it tomorrow if you knew how.
